Shallow bowls

£30.00

Hand thrown wood fired bowls. Interior with a spiral detail and glazed with an ash glaze. Exterior raw clay body painted by the flames and shadows from the firing.

Dimensions: Diameter 16cm x height 4cm

Wood-Fired Tableware

Each piece of this handthrown tableware is the result of a week-long wood firing process. A labor of love and tradition. The kiln is stoked continuously for three days and nights, with flames and ash painting the surface in rich, unpredictable patterns. No two pieces are ever the same. The natural markings left by the fire create a raw, earthy aesthetic that speaks to the depth of time, material, and craft. This is functional tableware made slowly, connected to the elements, and shaped by both hand and flame.
