Bud vase with porcelain slip

£35.00

Hand thrown bud vase, layered with porcelain slip and a shino glaze.

Dimensions: Width 7.5cm x height 10cm

Wood-Fired Tableware

Each piece of this handthrown tableware is the result of a week-long wood firing process. A labor of love and tradition. The kiln is stoked continuously for three days and nights, with flames and ash painting the surface in rich, unpredictable patterns. No two pieces are ever the same. The natural markings left by the fire create a raw, earthy aesthetic that speaks to the depth of time, material, and craft. This is functional tableware made slowly, connected to the elements, and shaped by both hand and flame.
